Gary& Wife
President's Message
Hello All Seasons,
It's time to dust off the glove and lace the cleats, grab your son, daughter or the neighbors child and play some catch because once again it is All Seasons Ski Clubs Annual BBQ and “NORTHERN CALIFORNIA SKI CLUB SOFTBALL CHALLENGE” . Yes we will hit the ball diamonds in Antioch once again. Remember this is a free event for All Seasons club members and free to all children under 16 regardless of club affiliation. Come out, eat and mingle with members of Black Avalanche, Ebony Ski & Racquet, U2CANSKI and Fire & Ice Ski Clubs. We will BBQ, relax, play a little ball and just enjoy each others company. Bring your favorite drink recipe and see if you can top my “Take your clothes off Margarita’s”.

SUMMIT ’08 BRECKINRIDGE, COLORADO
It’s time to put down your deposits and secure lodging for great week of skiing and parties, Summit style. Because of job commitments we had to change trip leaders. Debi Dohm is the new trip leader for this event, I want to thank Debi for quickly stepping up when the call went out.

WINTER CARNIVAL ’08 HEAVENLY SKI RESORT LAKE TAHOE
Yes we are local for the next two years, this is a great family event and who doesn’t like Lake Tahoe? Great skiing, gambling and night life, can you say après’ ski? We will grace the slopes with family and friends. A great time and place to teach a child to ski. Remember this is a Western Region Fundraiser, it’s what keeps our region functioning and most of all it supports our youth.

YOUTH RACER NEWS
Once again Errol and Mallory will represent All Seasons on the National level and we have young ones like the Gail & Jerry Moton’s grandchildren and Scotty’s granddaughter tearing up the slopes on the region level.

FIRE SAFETY MESSAGES OF THE MONTH:
Know two ways out of every building // Keep gasoline in approved containers

September 5th, 1955 9:30 am 7 lbs. 15 oz. 22 inches Highland Hospital Oakland, CA
Yes the General club meeting will fall on my birthday and I am bringing the Champagne, come out and have a drink with me as I toast 52 yrs. of life.

Gary D. Garrett,
President, All Seasons Ski Club

PAUL MIXON'S BBS FILMED BY NATONAL GEOGRAPHIC TV National Geographic TV and magazine sent a video film crew of four and two photographers to document the 10th Annual Black Boaters Summit, August 3-12, 2007, in the British Virgin Islands. The production company first came to Oakland July 25 to film ASSC member Paul Mixon, Black Boaters Summit founder and event planner, sailing with the kids of Afterguard Sailing Academy in Oakland. The production company then chartered two boats in the British Virgin Islands, August 3-7 to follow the fifteen BBS boat flotilla and document the event. Photos and the video can be seen in the December issue of National Geographic Magazine and on National Geographic.com Also on this year's BBS, after six years of looking at the trip, was ASSC member Maria Sinclair.
