Our Club
All Seasons Ski Club (ASSC) is one of twenty-three clubs within the Western Region of the National Brotherhood of Skiers, Inc. (NBS). All Seasons Ski Club (ASSC) was formed in 1972
by a small pioneering group of African American skiers who encountered few like themselves on the slopes. In 1974, ASSC and eleven other ski clubs across the U. S., founded our national
umbrella organization the NBS. Our initial goal was to meet and ski with other African Americans across the country. The organization’s goals were eventually expanded to reflect its desire to identify,
develop, and support athletes of color who will win international and Olympic winter sports competitions representing the United States. Against numerous odds, each year we get closer to realizing this dream.
In 1976, All Seasons Ski Club was incorporated as a California non-profit organization. As the oldest and largest NBS club in the Northern California, our current membership is 250. ASSC is an adult ski club
with members representing ages from the early 20s to 55+. Our club offers group ski packages to venues all over the world, social outings, activities, and networking opportunities to reflect the diverse interests
of our members - single & married, male & female, skiers, boarders, mono-skiers, and non-skiers alike. ASSC also provides support to its namesake youth organization, All Seasons Youth Ski Club (ASYSC).
Our Affilation
National Brotherhoods of Skiers - NBS The National Brotherhood of Skiers, Inc. (NBS) was founded in February 1973 in Aspen, Colorado and incorporated in 1975. The NBS began as thirteen black ski clubs from
across the nation, which met annually to ski. Since that time the organization has grown to 84 clubs. The NBS has created youth ski development programs and encourages gifted young skiers toward national competition.
